Welcome to High Fellgate Farm, Self Catering Cumbria. High Fellgate Farm offers camping and caravanning facilities located on the outskirts of the town of Grange-over-Sands in Cumbria. The campsite is located on the outskirts of The Lake District where guests can enjoy walking, cycling and a range of other activities.
This is the oldest caravan site in the area and has been used as a caravan and campsite since as early as the 1940’s.
Set on the side of a working farm and in open country side, the campsite offers a quiet and relaxing retreat for all our visitors.
There are a number of hard standing pitches available for touring caravans as well as a large flat grassy area for tents.
A shower/toilet block is available for visitors use. There is also an area with washing up facilities including hot running water.
Although there are no facilities for children they are more than welcome at High Fellgate Farm.
We provide fantastic accommodation for static & touring caravans as well as tents.
We welcome animals to the site. However, we would ask that they are kept under control and on a lead when walking around the site out of respect of other campers.
We are ideally situated for visiting Cartmel, home of the famous sticky toffee pudding and Cartmel Races. Holker Hall is just over a mile away and is a much visited attraction with the hall and gardens open to visitors. This is also the venue for the Holker Holker Garden Festival.
Grange-over-Sands is a charming Edwardian resort nestled between the breath-taking vistas of England’s Lake District fells and the long, sandy sweep of Morecambe Bay. Grange-over-Sands also offers one of the mildest climates in the north and is easily accessible with excellent rail and road links.
We are also a short drive from The Lake District where you can enjoy walking, cycling, horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, white water rafting and much more.
