Information that you provide about your business will be held and used by www.findmeabusiness.co.uk and its owner Find Me A Business Ltd (FMAB) solely to set up an advertisement for you or your business and will not be passed on to any other third party. Such information including your contact details will not be provided to any third party for the purposes of providing email lists or to be used to sell third party services.
Such information includes all details of any type of business as well as any pictures supplied & including online social links. Where such information is derived from your own website or if you supply it to us directly, we will have sort your permission to use this data prior to setting up the advertisement on FMAB.
We will use all reasonable care to ensure the information posted on the advertisement is accurate, but FMAB accepts no responsibility for errors or omissions that may occur and will not be responsible for any loss arising, however, caused through the setting up and use of the advertisement on the FMAB website.
We strongly recommend that customers claim their advertisements as soon as they become live to ensure such business details are correct an up to date. This will also allow you to update the photos on your business and reply to any reviews.
Payments
The payment for your advertisement must be received before the advertisement can go “live” on the website. Normally we will collect such payment by credit or debit card over the phone. Note this sensitive information will be used purely to collect the agreed amount and then destroyed immediately as soon as the transaction goes through. FMAB does not retain any details of credits cards or bank details. For this reason in the event that such electronic payment fails for whatever reason, we may need to take the details again of that or another credit/debit card. The payment taken is for the creation and subsequent publishing of the advertisement.
Refunds
In view of the technical and set up costs being at the commencement of the process to create your advertisement, we do not give any refund in whole or in part, once the advertisement goes live; at any time. Advertisements take up to 48 hours to go live. When you place the order you have 48 hours to cancel your order whereupon you will receive a full refund. Please note, after 48 hours and when the advertisement is live then no refunds can be offered at any time.
Terms Of Use
The advertisements held on the website www.findmeabusiness.co.uk (FMAB) are normally available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, throughout the year for potential customers of your business. However, FMAB will not be liable in event that the website becomes unavailable, whether this is because of technical difficulties, such as breakdown of Servers or power loss, nor through the winding up or closing down of FMAB.
The information given in the advertisement on the FMAB website is provided to potential customers in good faith, but no liability will be accepted for any loss that may occur either to you, the advertiser or your customer through the use of this website.
Any contract you have with your customer for the hire or otherwise of your accommodation will be entirely separate to the introduction that may be attributed to the use of the website. FMAB will not be party to such contracts and not accept any liability occurring through use of, or expected use of your business. FMAB do not take any introductory fee for a successful hire, or use for your business, other than an initial fee to set up the advertisement (see above).
Once created the Advertisement (being all data and pictures held therein) becomes the property of FMAB. Copying, printing or downloading of such data is allowed for an individual’s use to allow selection of business. Appropriate “selection” and “print” buttons exist on the website for this purpose. Copying, printing or downloading of data for Marketing or Sales purposes by third parties is strictly forbidden.
The provision of advertisements for businesses on the website is provided for use by both UK residents as well as overseas visitors. However, these terms and conditions will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law (always recognising any EU law that may apply). In the event any dispute arises FMAB will always attempt to resolve any issue without resource to legal proceeding.
FMAB maintains details of the number of times an Advertisers advertisement is accessed as well as the number of potential customers who may have “clicked” over to see your own website. Such information is retained purely to check the amount of interest in your business and is only divulged to a given Advertiser about their own business.
