Welcome to Churchtown, Bed & Breakfast Tavistock. Churchtown B&B in Peter Tavy offers guest accommodation in a charming Victorian house in the countryside, which has a super garden and rooms with a view. We are a good base for visiting National Trust properties and many fine gardens in Devon and Cornwall. We offer an ideal base for walking on wonderful Dartmoor and visiting Tavistock. The sea at Plymouth is a half hour drive and the Eden Project is just an hour drive away.
We offer 1 single and 2 double rooms. The two large double rooms at the front of the house have lovely views over the garden. Tea trays with kettles are provided, along with a TV in each room. One of the doubles has an en suite shower, the other has an en suite bath.
A further bathroom, shower room and separate cloakroom are shared with the good size single room that looks out over the courtyard.
From Tavistock we are 2 miles north on the A386. Turn right at the Peter Tavy sign and after 1 mile the house is the first on the left as you enter the village.
The excellent Peter Tavy Inn is an easy 5 minute walk away. Just right for tasty evening meals. The village has a children’s playground, with swings and a slide nearby.
