Holiday in beautiful Glenlivet at Bluefolds Highland Holiday Cottages. We have 4 exceptional self catering cottages with stunning mountain views, located in rural Glenlivet, Speyside on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. Excellent location for exploring highlands of Scotland including the Cairngorms National Park and from Inverness to Aberdeen – ideal for relaxing, wildlife, walking, cycling, mountain biking, whisky, golfing skiing or touring. Our extremely comfortable cottages are in a tastefully restored farmhouse and steading building which are fully double glazed and electrically heated. The buildings are surrounded by a fenced garden with stunning views across Glenlivet to the Glenlivet distillery, one of many on the Speyside Malt Whisky Trail. All our cottages are well maintained by the Owners. Linen, towels and t-towels are included. Cot, high chair and baby bath are available free. Barbecue and patio furniture are also included along with Wi-Fi.

Aberlour Cottage sleeps 2-4; 2 bedrooms:
Aberlour cottage is the centre cottage. The patio doors at the front of the cottage are south facing to enjoy all day sunshine and the stunning mountain views. They open into a walled courtyard with a flower border in the wall and a rotary clothes line. Aberlour has a modern kitchen, is comfortably furnished with CD/radio player, telephone, digital satellite TV and DVD player. The cottage has a coal fired stove as a feature in the lounge which is much enjoyed by our visitors. The cottage is ideal for up to 4 adults. Ground Floor has an open plan lounge/dining area, the kitchen includes electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine; shower room with toilet and basin and 1 twin bedded room. First floor has a large bedroom with 1 double and 1 single bed. Visitors are welcome to bring a well-behaved dog. There is plenty of space for it in the garden and there are many excellent way marked trails in the area which are good for dog walking.

Dronach Cottage sleeps 2-6; 2 bedrooms:
Dronach cottage is an end cottage. The patio doors at the front of the cottage are south facing to enjoy all day sunshine and the stunning mountain views to the Cairngorms National Park. Dronach has a modern kitchen, and is comfortably furnished with CD/radio player, telephone, digital satellite TV and DVD player. The cottage has a coal fired stove as a feature in the lounge which is much enjoyed by our visitors. Ground Floor has a large open plan lounge/dining area, the kitchen includes electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine; shower room with toilet and basin. First floor has 2 large bedrooms each with 1 double and 1 single bed. Visitors are welcome to bring well-behaved dogs. There is plenty of space for them in the garden and there are many excellent way marked trails in Glenlivet which are ideal for dog walking.

Glenlivet Cottage sleeps 2-6; 3 bedrooms:
Glenlivet cottage. The patio doors at the front of the cottage are south facing to enjoy all day sunshine and the stunning mountain views to the Cairngorms National Park. There is also a door into the walled courtyard with a flower border in the wall and a rotary clothes line. Glenlivet is ideal for larger groups perhaps sharing 2 cottages as there is ample room to eat and relax together in it. Glenlivet has a modern kitchen, and is comfortably furnished with CD/radio player, telephone, digital satellite TV, video and DVD players. The cottage has a coal fired stove as a feature in the lounge which is much enjoyed by our visitors. All on one level, Glenlivet has a very large open plan lounge/dining area, the raised level kitchen is up 4 steps and includes a washing machine, electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer; bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and basin. There are 2 large bedrooms with 1 double and 1 single bed and 1 double room. Visitors are welcome to bring well-behaved dogs. There is plenty of space for them in the garden and there are many excellent way marked trails in the area which are good for dog walking.

Fold Cottage sleeps 2-8; 3 bedrooms; 2 bathrooms :
Folds cottage is small farmhouse. The cottage is south facing to enjoy all day sunshine and the stunning mountain views to the Cairngorms National Park. Folds cottage has a separate modern kitchen and utility room and is comfortably furnished with CD/radio player, telephone, digital satellite TV with DVD player. The coal fired stove is a feature in the kitchen and also heats radiators in the lounge and bathroom. Downstairs a large comfortable lounge/dining room with a separate kitchen and utility room. The kitchen includes hob, double oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher; utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. A double bedroom with ensuite shower room with toilet and wash basin; bathroom with bath, toilet, wash basin and shower are also downstairs. Upstairs 2 family rooms with 1 double and 1 single bed with wash basins. Visitors are welcome to bring well-behaved dogs. There is plenty of space for them in the garden and there are many excellent way marked trails in the area which are good for dog walking.

This area is full of adventure with new Mountain Biking trails having opened in Glenlivet along with a huge selection of Walking trails. There are 2 local Golf Courses at Dufftown and Ballindalloch. When you want something indoors why not sample whisky nosings and tastings in Dufftown, visit local distilleries and enjoy historic Scottish castles. It is easy to tour this area with lots of quiet back roads to take you into the Cairngorms national park or to head for the Moray Firth coast and visit idyllic fishing villages or beautiful empty beaches in Speyside and Moray. There is also an astonishing selection of wildlife right on our doorstep with Roe deer on the hills around along with red squirrels, buzzards and kestrels. On the Moray Firth there are pods of Dolphins to see as well as Gannets and many other sea birds who nest on the cliffs at Troup Head.

In spring – watch the lambs gambolling in the fields; in summer walk on the moors enjoying the purple of the heather or in autumn – walk by our many rivers and lochs, enjoying the autumn colours. In winter – photograph the snow on the mountains and frost on the trees or try sledging, ski-ing or snowboarding at the Lecht ski resort. All times are ideal for walking by the rivers Livet, Avon or Spey or cycling on the way marked trails on the Glenlivet estate and in the Cairngorms National Park.
