Welcome to Wight Bay Hotel, Hotel In Sandown. Wight Bay Hotel offers its’ guests a fantastic location, being within 2 minutes walk of the town centre and the steps which lead to the esplanade and cliff top walk, which runs between Sandown and Shanklin.
The bedrooms at The Riviera Hotel are comfortably furnished and decorated. All of our well presented rooms offer a hospitality tray with tea and coffee making facilities, and there are en-suite bathrooms or showers to all of the bedrooms along with colour televisions, central heating and hair dryers. Some of the bedrooms at The Riviera look out towards Culver Cliff and the sea, but these are subject to availability.
Some of our bedrooms are located on the ground floor, making us an ideal place for guests who require ease of access to our communal areas.
Our bar is a friendly place to relax and unwind and we offer a range of lunchtime snacks that can be purchased from freshly made sandwiches and rolls, to French fries and burgers, all at very reasonable prices. There is also morning coffee and afternoon tea available on request.
In the evening the bar comes alive with nightly live entertainment, from approximately 8.30pm. Sandwiches and hot drinks are available throughout the evening up to 12.00 midnight. A totally relaxed feeling fills the atmosphere.
At the Riviera we take great pride in our friendly restaurant, offering a varied and exciting menu, with a superb selection of traditional and continental style cuisine, succulent roasts, tantalising fish dishes, home made pies and pasties plus a mouth-watering selection of traditional home made desserts. Vegetarian? No problem. We offer a different freshly cooked vegetarian dish on the menu every evening and of course if you prefer something lighter, you can always select from our self-service salad table. If you would like a glass or bottle of wine with your meal, we offer a delightfully varied selection of quality wines at very reasonable prices.
