After having a lovely day out, and walking what seemed like a million miles, we were very much looking forward to good grub and a vino!! The roast was good, lots of veg, a Yorkshire and roast spuds. The meat was tasty too!
This is a “proper pub” you walk in and can smell the log fire, very welcoming!
The girls behind the bar are very welcoming and leave u to your own devices, but helpful if you need them.

Stayed in Lanlilvery last week and went in the Crown twice to eat lunch and the other afternoons just to enjoy a couple of pints and chat with the locals. Food was really good, huge portions. Ambience in there is lovely and they had a log fire burning most afternoons. The bar staff were very friendly and we were made to feel most welcome. It’s a bit like going to the Bull in the Archers! Full of farmers and dogs…………..Will certainly go back again.
