ROOMS
Strawberry Bank – Relax in our reception area after a busy day touring the many attractions that are within easy reach of Strawberry Bank House. The house is ideally located in the centre of town and is within easy reach of the main motorway network and the local bus and train stations.
The McIntosh Room – This large and spacious room with its warm peach and gold tones can be used as either a double or twin room. The choice is yours. Its spacious en-suite bathroom decorated throughout with bright marble effect tiling has toilet, shower and Victorian style wash hand basin.
The Stewart Room – The gold & cream tones in this modern room create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The room has a luxurious super king bed which when required can be converted into two single beds to create a comfortable twin room if needed.
The Munro Room – This twin room is decorated in champagne and gold tones and is used for either twin or single occupancy. It has en-suite shower, toilet and wash hand basin. All Rooms have central heating, remote control TV, radio alarm clocks, hospitality tray with biscuits, toiletries and hairdryer.
The Breakfast Room – The warm and comfortable breakfast room overlooks the Royal & Ancient Burgh of Linlithgow and the famous Linlithgow Palace where Mary Queen of Scots was born in 1542.
Strawberry Bank House enjoys a prime location within the town and is only a few minutes walk from all the local amenities, the rail and bus stations, the canal basin, the museum, Linlithgow Palace (the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots in 1542) and the picturesque loch.
In addition to the various amenities and visitor attractions, several excellent restaurants and pubs are within easy reach of Strawberry Bank House. Activities including fishing, golf, pony trekking and sailing are available locally for all to enjoy.
Linlithgow generally and Strawberry Bank House specifically, provides the tourist and business man or woman alike with an excellent base in a marvellous location, within the central belt of Scotland. There is easy access to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and the North both by road and rail with the main Motorways (M8 and M9) close by. The main railway lines running through Linlithgow provide regular services to the main towns and cities. Edinburgh Airport is only 10 miles from Linlithgow – approximately 15 minutes by car/taxi, and can be reached easily without the need to travel into or through the city.
