Fir Tree Cottage is situated in the mature gardens of Nantyfelin and is a cosy and comfy little cottage and ideal for a holiday in Criccieth. It has sea views from the lounge and kitchen windows. We are situated in one of the best positions with views of the sea and the castle, lovely gardens, central for all amenities and also set back from the road to retain its peace and charm. Park your car in the grounds and you may not even need it again all week as we are so central to most amenities and close to public transport as well. Have an early mornng swim, breakfast on the patio, walk to shop or beach etc and then dinner in the evening in one of the superb restaurants in Criccieth. Fir Tree has one double bedroom with en suite shower room and a lounge/kitchen/diner area with television / Freeview and DVD with the DVD’s being able to be hired from the local Spar shop. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer and plenty of crockery etc. We supply hand and bath towels and we do supply some kitchen items for you to use. There are two small tables plus 2 chairs for dining it has a stable door so can left open if you bring a pet or if the weather is really hot. Fir tree was renovated from the out buildings of Nantyfelin which consisted of the garden room (where the tools were kept.) outside lavatory, coal house and the wash house for the main house Nantyfelin.
Holly Cottage is a cosy and comfy cottage sited in the grounds of beautiful Nantyfelin and in the centre of the village of Criccieth. The cottage has just one en suite double bedroom and a lounge/diner with a kitchen which has a gas cooker, washing machine, microwave and all the pots pans crockery and cutlery etc you require. The lounge has a comfy settee and a table with 2 chairs, television with Freeview, radio and cd player. It has gas central heating and an electric fire which has the coal effect, just enough to use if required on a very cold Winter night for effect. The bedroom has a comfy double bed and the en suite has a shower plus WC and wash hand basin. You have a glimpse of the sea front the bedroom window and one of the castle from the lounge and bedroom.. Parking is outside your cottage and you can use any part of the garden with no restrictions.
Nantyfelin Apartment is a stunning property overlooking the sea, mountains and Criccieth and Harlech Castles. The apartment is situated on the first and the second floor of grade II listed building. Nantyfelin and has the most wonderful views across the bay to the Berwyn mountains. You can sit in the roomy comfortable lounge and watch the sea while sitting in the window seats with views that never disappoint as the vista is always changing. The apartment has a large lounge with television, DVD player etc and a living flame gas fire for your use. There are comfy settees for you to use and plenty of books for you to read. The kitchen is also a good size and has a table and dining chairs for up to 8 people ,if you are a couple why not dine at a table in the lounge sitting in the window and watch the sea. Gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and an old fashioned clothes hanging rack to dry clothes etc. There is also a cloak room with WC and hand basin on this floor. The bedroom on this floor is a double bedded room and has a shower in the room. The other 2 bedrooms which are a double and twin are sited on the second floor where there is a shower room with wc and hand basin which services the bedrooms on this floor.
Criccieth is the best place to stay to explore the National park as it is virtually in the centre and you can travel 5 different ways out of the village to visit the Lleyn peninsula, Betwys y Coed ,Harlech, Caernarvon,and Blaenau Ffestiniog and all places are so different and offer everything you could want to make this a perfect holiday. There is even a nightclub at Bangor and Caernarvon if you require nightlife otherwise this as an area of outstanding beauty and peace. If you are a golfer there are 8 courses within 20 miles to choose from surrounding our cottages.
