Welcome to Middletown Farm, Self Catering in Gloucestershire. Orchard Barn was originally built in the 18th century as a barn/hay loft. This delightful brick built barn has been carefully renovated to a high standard providing all the comforts of modern living and is an ideal place to relax in the quiet idyllic surroundings of the peaceful countryside.

The cottage with accommodation for two guests comprises comfortable open plan living room with two settees to relax after a busy day exploring all that the area has to offer. The newly fitted kitchen has a cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment. Fully equipped with everything you need. There is a dining table and chairs to enjoy relaxing meals and plan the next day’s outings.

The staircase from the lounge leads to a spacious landing with door to the delightful large double bedroom with high beamed ceiling with plenty of storage cupboards.

From the landing a door leads to the newly fitted bathroom with bath and shower over, wash hand basin, shaver point and plenty of hot water always available.

Facilities include full central heating, Digital TV with Freeview/DVD player and Stereo CD player. Information on all the local attractions that the area has to offer are available in the cottage.

There is a large South facing garden with barbecue and garden furniture with adjacent parking for your car.

Middletown Farm is situated 3 miles East of Newent and 8 miles North West of Gloucester. We are very convenient to the M50 (5 miles), the M5 (8 miles), A.40 (5 miles) and easily accessible to the M.4.

Local directions for your journey will be sent with the confirmation of Booking. There are no local buses or trains available so a car is essential to visit all the local amenities.

The small market town of Newent is just 3 miles away with a wide variety of shops and mini markets. There are many good pubs in the area providing a wide choice of excellent food and good ales.

The location provides an ideal position from which to explore in all directions. You can choose the breathtaking Malvern Hills, Worcester and Tewkesbury, or the enchanting Royal Forest of Dean, the scenic Cotswolds, Hereford and even into Wales.

The historic Docks of Gloucester, the Regency towns of Cheltenham and Bath, Oxford, Cirencester, Stratford on Avon make a lovely day out. The picturesque local market towns of Ross on Wye, Ledbury and Newent are all within easy reach.

There are also many visitor attractions from stately homes and castles to museums. Brochures and information on many of the attractions are available in the cottage.
