Welcome to Lynstead House, Bed & Breakfast in Sidmouth, offers guests a ‘home away from home’ that is situated in a pretty part of Sidmouth, on Devon’s Jurassic Coast. Our guest house is only a short, level walk to the centre of town and the sea front, making it a great base for those who are looking to visit this wonderful coastal town and as place to stay while exploring this lovely corner of Devon.
Our guest house is in the process of being completely refurbished to ensure guests have a clean, modern and comfortable place to stay, as well as having a good night’s rest. We have 6 guest rooms available, which are made up as 1 single room with a separate bathroom, 3 double bedrooms with en suites, 1 super king/twin room with en suite and a king size guest room with en suite facilities. All of the guest rooms include a flat screen TV with Freeview, clock radio, hair dryer, tea/coffee making facilities with fresh milk and biscuits. The bathrooms have luxury bath sheets and hand towels as well as complimentary toiletries from Cole & Lewis.
A choice of cereals, fruit & yoghurt is available each morning, before a traditional full English breakfast which is made using locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast is available from 8.15am – 9.30am and can be prepared and served earlier with prior arrangement. Should you have any special dietary requirements please inform us when booking.
Sidmouth is a lovely coastal town that offers a great range of independent shops, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Head westwards along the seafront and this will take you directly up to Jacobs Ladder and Connaught Gardens where you can enjoy a walk through its grounds with borders that overflow with shrubs and flowers and where, in the summer months, you can enjoy a Sunday concert by the local brass band from the comfort of a deck chair.
