Welcome to Glendale House, Bed & Breakfast in Gairloch. The little village of South Erradale is in a very picturesque seaside location overlooking Skye, Rassey and the Outer Hebrides. South west of Gairloch on the single track road which ends at Red Point Beach.
Glendale House is a family run STB 3 star self catering complex comprising of 4 self contained apartments in this small quiet village, with very scenic surroundings close to some beautiful beaches, and just 200 yards from the rocky seashore.
The four apartments. each with their own access, range from one to three bedrooms, have a sitting room, kitchen and bathroom (the larger apartment with 3 bedrooms includes 3 en-suites), and accommodate between 1 and eight adults. The apartments are fully equipped with TV and “Freeview” digital top box, microwave, fridge freezer, electric cooker, washing machine. and *dishwasher. Cots are available on request.
There is an undercover private mainly solar heated swimming pool* for residents use only, and the quiet, friendly, family orientated bar situated in the main building offers a great place to unwind after the day’s activities.
Wester Ross is one of the most interesting walking/hillwalking areas in Scotland and offers the walker a wide variety of both low level and higher level walks in dramatic scenery, wild flowers and wild life abound.
Sea angling – plenty of opportunities in the sea lochs around the area.
Fishing inland – Wester Ross is a popular area for fishing with remote lochs and great river systems. Bear in mind you may need permission to fish in some areas.
You are likely to see red deer, birds of prey and possibly eagles to name a few.
