Welcome to Duncraig Cottage, Self Catering in Perthshire. Duncraig Cottage is a comfortable, modern, semi-detached cottage situated in a quiet cul-de-sac within Pitlochry in the magnificent Highland Perthshire. It is about 500 metres from Pitlochry town centre and for those who enjoy walking the bungalow is within easy walking distance of shops and other amenities including the railway station.
Centrally situated in Highland Perthshire, it makes an ideal base for touring, walking, golfing and fishing, or just enjoying the leisure facilities including the world-famous Pitlochry Festival Theatre, the Salmon Ladder at Pitlochry Hydro Dam and the local Whisky Distilleries.
Gas central heating throughout ensures this modern bungalow, of timber frame/brick construction, is warm & cosy. All fittings/furnishings fully comply with the latest fire safety regulations and the bungalow comes equipped with a fire extinguisher and smoke detectors. There is a high security main door and high security, aluminium-framed & double glazed windows are fitted throughout.
The accommodation is owner maintained, all on one level, non-smoking and comprises:
A hallway leading to the lounge with colour T.V. / DVD Player / Video Recorder, C.D. / Radio / Cassette Player, a comfortable three piece suit and large picture window with pleasant outlook.
Also off the hall is a newly fitted luxury kitchen with gas hob, electric double oven, microwave, fridge, auto-washing machine, kettle, toaster, coffee maker etc. (tea towels provided). There is also a separate freezer. The kitchen has a dining table and four chairs for eating meals.
At the end of the hallway there is a fully tiled modern bathroom with bath, shower, W.C., wash-hand basin & electric shaving point.
The cottage has two good sized bedrooms off the main hallway.
The double bedroom faces to the front of the house and the twin bedroom is at the rear. Both are fitted with modern pine beds and furniture with built in wardrobes.
A large travel cot is provided plus indoor & outdoor drying facilities (Tumble drier included).
Owner-maintained with central heating throughout, this Scottish Tourist Board (STB) 4 star self-catering cottage sleeps 4 and has its own small front & rear garden with garden furniture. The front garden gets the sun in the morning while the small rear garden, with garden furniture, is a real suntrap in the afternoon.
