Set in seven acres of gorgeous gardens, this spacious Georgian house was once home to the local rector before it became the family home of your hosts Annabel and Jonathon Croggon and a luxury B&B retreat. Interestingly Titanium was discovered here.
Creed House was built around 1730, originally as a Rectory. The house sits in five acres of beautiful gardens, a stone’s throw away from Creed church and the peaceful Golden Valley.
It has historic links with the discovery of Titanium by William Gregor in the late Eighteenth century.
Now the home of Jonathon and Annabel Croggon and their family, it is an elegant and wonderfully tranquil place to base yourself for a visit to Cornwall and the Roseland Peninsula.
Between Truro and St Austell, just four miles from the south coast and only fifteen minutes from the A30, Creed House is an ideal central base from which to discover Cornwall. Whether you come to visit the wealth of wonderful gardens in Cornwall or walk stunning coastal paths, we are sure you will find us a good base for a short weekend break or a luxury holiday location.
The Roseland has some excellent restaurants, catering for all budgets, from good pub food to the very best in gastronomic experiences.
Antiques, pictures and plates adorn the rooms and the use of beautiful fabrics around the home is testament to Annabel’s background as an interior designer. The B&B accommodation is accessed via a private staircase leading to two luxury bed and breakfast rooms, between which is a guest sitting room replete with reading material, guides of the local area and sitting here awhile in front of the warming fire is an utter delight especially at the end of a day exploring Cornwall. Each guest bedroom has an en suite bathroom amply supplied with luxury potions and lotions with which to indulge.
The gardens around this B&B accommodation are tranquil with a walled garden and many specimen trees, shrubs and ponds. A choice of continental or traditional breakfast is offered at Creed House and a fine array of local restaurants and pubs cater for all tastes for dinner.
