Welcome to Craven Heifer, Bed & Breakfast in Settle. Craven Heifer is a traditional pub that also offers bed and breakfast accommodation located in the village of Stainforth just a few miles from Settle in North Yorkshire. The pub is placed perfectly for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and is close to the start of the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.The bar area of the pub is always bustling with locals and visitors to the area. The pub provides a variety of real ales as well as an extensive wine list. There is a wide range of meals served at the pub from our popular Craven Burger to our homemade pizzas.
You can enjoy our chef’s home-cooked dining and pub food, whilst chatting and mingling with the locals of Stainforth. Our extensively refurbished, 7 bedroom en-suite inn is the hub of this friendly village.
There are 7 bed and breakfast rooms which are all en suite and come equipped with a flat screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities and include breakfast.
We are located close to the National Bridleway and National Cycleway which is ideal for keen walkers, cyclists and horse riders. If you want something a bit different then you can take the Settle to Carlisle steam train.
Our country pub with rooms is the perfect location for your stay in the breath taking Yorkshire Dales. You will be only three miles from the start of the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in Horton in Ribblesdale and a similar distance to the bustling market town of Settle. We provide a perfect bed and breakfast location if you are tackling the 3 Peaks, walking the Dales Highway and Ribble Way, or cycling the Way of the Roses from Morcambe to Bridlington. We are also located close to both the National Bridleway and National Cycleway.
