Welcome to Corner Cottage, Self Catering in Studland. Corner Cottage is situated near a village shop and post office/off licence (100yards). The holiday cottage is of Flintstone and brick construction with double glazed windows.
It looks over farmland and across the bay to the Isle of Wight. The self catering cottage is to be let as one unit to accommodate up to 9 guests plus a cot.
One double bedroom is on the ground floor with shower & w.c ensuite. The garden at the back is secure with gates at either end of the drive.
Facilities:
3 Double Bedrooms (2 double. 1 x 5ft & 1 x 4’6 beds. 1 twin ( 2 x 3ft beds) + cot leading onto covered balcony with views, all with washbasins (1 en-suite) .
2 Single Bedrooms (1 with 2x3ft bunk beds & washbasin & 1 with 3ft bed).
Large lounge running into sun lounge.
Kitchen/dining room.
Upstairs 1 Bathroom with full size bath (with stand up shower in it,) and washbasin, 1 separate WC.
1 shower room with w.c. and washbasin (en-suite ground floor Double).
1 separate w.c downstairs.
South facing Patio with furniture and gas fired BBQ.
A shared drive and car parking for 3/4 cars in the garden (front & rear).
Covered rear entrance with washing machine and freezers.
Small lawn the rear.
Duvets & blankets are provided No linen or towels are provided A linen service can be obtained from a local supplier at extra cost if required.
Dogs are welcome. The property is adjacent to a public footpath.
Take the children for a ride on the Swanage steam Railway. It runs from Swanage station to Norden (where there is an exciting play area for energetic young people to work off high spirits) andthen on to Wareham.
Swanage is 3 miles away. A small traditional seaside town with theatre, Bowling green, Tennis courts, mini golf, Shopping, and many other attractions.
The Blue Pool at Furzbrook started life as a quarry and is a lovely place to walk around. It has an exciting nature trail for children to follow.
Catch a ferry to Brownsea Island. in Poole Harbour where the scout movement started. It’s beauty and wildlife is cared for by the National Trust. A wonderful spot to take a picnic, One of the few places where the red quirrel survives.
