Castle View Bed and Breakfast offers comfortable Bed and Breakfast accommodation located in the town of Chepstow in Monouthshire. The hotel is located on the edge of The Forest of Dean meaning there are lovely walks in the area ideal for those bringing dogs.
There are numerous bedrooms available at the Bed and Breakfast including the following
The Portrait Room – this is the largest of our family room and offers stunning views. This room has an en suite and beautiful high ceilings and oak beams.
Old No 3 – this room has a double bed and is ideal for couples. The room has beautiful views and is located on the first floor.
The Muriel Room – this is a twin bedroom with an en suite bathroom. This room has a large covered Muriel of a sixteenth century mansion and courtyard spreading the length of the main wall.
The Family Room – this is our second family room that is located on the first floor and offers an en suite bathroom. Thus room has views across the small pond and garden.
The Rafters Rooms – these two bedrooms are located on the top floor of the hotel and are both full of character and have been reported to feel a bit haunted.
The Cottage Room – this room is a superior double which is perfect for a special occasion or romantic break.
The Garden Rooms – these two bedrooms are self contained in a small annexe at the rear of the main hotel. These rooms have views over the pond and hotel garden.
The House Rooms – these two bedrooms are located down a cobbled path through the garden and offer spacious double/family accommodation. These rooms are private and secluded.
There is a range of food available during breakfast including cereal, fresh fruit, toast and of course a full English breakfast. We also offer kipper, porridge and requests when given notice.
As well as the stunning bedrooms we also offer a lounge bar where guests can relax. This room has comfortable seating and a range of drinks available including alcoholic and non alcoholic.
Guests are welcome to dine in the restaurant where there is a combination of British cuisine with a little European influence. The finest produce is used and all of the food is cooked fresh to order.
There are many things to do in the local area including going into Chepstow where there is a museum, church and a range of shops. Those who enjoy walking will love the local area there are many mapped out walking routes including the Offa’s Dyke which starts at Chepstow.
