Owned by Hazel & Gwyn Davies, Caebetran Farmhouse offers comfortable accommodation in a homely atmosphere with great food and an excellent location.
Caebetran Farmhouse dates back to the 17th century and is a traditional Welsh longhouse which has been added to and altered over the years retaining the traditional character of the old building. It was opened for visitors in 1990 and since then we have had many happy and satisfied visitors and we have made many friends. We always get a lot of repeat bookings and our property is always maintained to a very high standard.
Caebetran Farm stands high on the hillside looking out across a breathtaking panorama sweeping round from Hay Bluff in the Black Mountains to the Brecon Beacons. Discovering Caebetran is a delightful exploration through winding lanes bordered by ancient hedgerows abundant with wildlife.
All the bedrooms are en suite, with colour TV, tea making facilities, hairdryer, iron and many little extras to make your stay with us special.
There is a comfortable lounge with colour TV and video, which visitors are welcome to use whenever they want. Caebetran is a non smoking residence.
Visitors can enjoy good home cooking using home produced beef and lamb, and local produce, in a dining room with separate tables. Visitors are welcome to bring their own wine to have with their evening meal.
Surrounding the Farmhouse are 400 acres of open common land, where a host of wildlife can be found, perfect for nature lovers with rabbits, badgers and foxes in abundance. Bird-watchers can enjoy the many species of bird which can be found in this thriving area, including pheasant, red kite and buzzards.
