Bramblewick, with its superb restaurant, cafe, and en-suite rooms, can be found a few steps from the beach in the heart of the picturesque World Heritage coastal resort of Robin Hood’s Bay. This historic property, which pre-dates 1650 (and was once the village bakery), offers character, stylish décor, fine food and wines.
Situated in the old village, Bramblewick is an ideal base for exploring the beach and rock pools, fossil hunting and walking. Fresh coffee, full English and continental breakfast are served.
Spend a relaxing night in one of Bramblewick’s four tastefully furnished bedrooms. Great care has been taken to preserve the atmosphere of this 17th century building, with each room offering beamed ceilings and a contemporary style of decor, carefully juxtaposed with the timeless nature of the property.
All of our en-suite bedrooms have thermostat controlled central heating and offer full tea/coffee making facilities. Each room has a colour television, hairdryer and tasteful linen and duvets.

The Bramblewick offers a cafe style menu throughout the week, including an all day breakfast menu containing a selection of omelettes, poached or scrambled eggs on toast, cereals, and not forgetting Bramblwick’s full english breakfast which will well and truly set you up for the rest of the day!
It also offers a full day time menu for customers throughout the week and will cater to every need. Whether you are looking for a light snack or something to set you up for the day, Bramblewick offers a selection of hand cut sandwiches, panninis, pastas, homemade soups, and local caught fish.
But if none of this is what your looking for, and you rather just sit down with a slice of cake and a cup of coffee, Bramblewick prides itself on using the best quality coffee beans possible, supplied by one of the UK’s biggest expresso specialists for over ten years. Coopers coffee offers a unique taste and texture customers will not forget! Bramblewick also supplies a selection of cakes daily from coffee and walnut cake to a rich chocolate layered cake.
