Welcome to Bosvathick House, Bed & Breakfast in Falmouth. Bosvathick House is a grade II listed Georgian house, built in 1760 by my family and substantially extended in Victorian times. It’s wonderfully quiet here, being hidden in the heart of the countryside and with a long drive. It’s surrounded by 10 acres of garden, including a 3/4 acre lake, home to several breeding pairs of duck, geese and moorhen. Guests are very welcome to roam through the gardens.
Near the north bank of the Helford River, Bosvathick country house B & B is well situated for visiting some of the loveliest gardens and other historic houses in Cornwall. Come and enjoy bed and breakfast in these beautiful and peaceful surroundings, either in winter or summer, though spring sees Cornwall at its very best.
We have two twin/superking bedrooms, one in the Victorian wing, with adjacent bathroom and the other on the Georgian south front, with a more distant bathroom (bathrobes are provided). This bedroom has a lovey view, with the scent of jasmine and wisteria in season wafting in from the outside wall. We also have two single bedrooms with a bathroom nearby. Bathrooms are for guests’ use only. The double bedrooms have Smart TVs, while the single rooms have standard flatscreen TVs. There is disabled access to the bedrooms via a stairlift.
This luxury Cornish B&B accommodation is close to the south Cornish coast in an area of outstanding natural beauty, within very easy reach of numerous creeks, estuaries and beaches.
A wonderful weekend spent in this delightful house. It couldn’t have been better! Delicious breakfast too (best marmalade I’ve had in a long time) It’s so peaceful here – I’m certain we will return.
