Welcome to BlackStones B&B, Bed & Breakfast in Country Kerry. BlackStones B&B is an old style award winning house scenically situated beside Blackstones Bridge on the Upper Caragh River. Blackstones House is highly commended in the Boston Globe, Jerusalem Post, British Country Walking Guide, Michelin Guide and the Fodors Guide.
Each room has a panoramic view of the river, mountains and woodlands, together with the soothing sound of the Blackstones Falls. All bedrooms are en suite with satellite television, powered showers, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and free WiFi. Each of the rooms are decorated to the highest of standards and are very large and spacious.
In our guest dining room you will be greeted each morning with panoramic views of the Caragh river. Home cooking is our speciality. Evening meals are also served upon request. We are also more than delighted to accommodate you if you have any special dietary requirements.
Blackstones House Bed and Breakfast and House rental Accommodation is located in the Glencar area of County Kerry. Situated at the foot of Carrauntuohill, Ireland’s highest mountain, along the Ring of Kerry. An ideal base for touring the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Peninsula.
The are many activities for the visitor in the area including fishing, hunting, walking and mountain climbing. At Blackstiones House we offer bed and breakfast or house rental accommodation, dinner, packed lunches and luggage transfer.
Our home has been recently decorated and to the highest standards. We are a Failte Ireland approved Bed and Breakfast. Bord Faile is the name of the Irish tourist board. Each year they inspect accommodations and give an appropriate rating. We have been awarded a 4 star rating.
Blackstones House Glencar is an ideal base for touring the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Peninsula. During your stay with us you can also enjoy the many leisure activities available close by which include fishing, hunting and leisurely forest walks. Killarney Town is located 40 minute drive from us, Killorglin Town is a 20 minute drive and Rossbeigh Beach is also located 20 minute drive away. Also we have some fantastic walks in the area, enjoy a nature walk through Blackstones Old Oak wood, which is now preserved under the habitats of Europe.
