This elegant house is ideally situated on the quiet Craigmore shore with panoramic views over Rothesay Bay and looking up towards Loch Striven and the famous Kyles of Bute 3 miles from the magnificent Mountstuart house and only ten minutes walk from the town centre of Rothesay and the ferry terminal.
Relax and enjoy the Victorian grandeur of days gone by in this beautiful building with many of its original features still intact.
The Bayview has twelve attractive spacious non-smoking bedrooms. Eight rooms are en-suite and four have private facilities*. All rooms have colour television, clock radio, hairdryer, courtesy tray and free Wifi available throughout.
Eight rooms enjoy panoramic views over Rothesay Bay and our other four rooms look out onto the garden, which has the occasional visit from the Roe deer, which roam freely on our island.
All our rooms have been designed with our guests’ comfort in mind. Four of our rooms have super king sized double beds (six foot wide) or for that special occasion (or just because you can!) why not book our seaview newly refurbished four-poster room at no extra charge. There also is no extra charge for single rooms or sea-views!
The Bayview offers a full Scottish breakfast or something lighter if you prefer. Why not begin with a steaming hot plate of traditional porridge or perhaps a selection of cereals and fruits from the variety filled breakfast buffet table.
