Welcome to Ammonite Lodge Guest House, Bed & Breakfast in Somerset. Ammonite Lodge Guest House offers guest accommodation situated on the outskirts of Chard in Somerset. Our 18th century large cottage is a 4 star accredited guest house and is just a 2 minute walk to a wide choice of restaurants and pubs.
We have a wide selection of rooms available ranging from doubles, twins and a family room. All of our rooms have: ironing facilities, and fan are available, Freeview TV, radio alarm clock, hairdryer, complimentary tea/coffee, bottled water and toiletries. We have all the comforts you need to have a relaxing stay with us.
Our guest house also has a lovely dining room and cosy lounge for our guests use. We supply you with a quality made breakfast, made using locally used products. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know beforehand.
There is private parking at the rear of the guest house, but please park at the front initially, so that we can check you in and help with your luggage.
Our guest accommodation is conveniently located at the top of the High Street opposite the Chard Museum, we are a short walk away from the shops and restaurants.
Our bed and breakfast is perfectly situated for wedding guests for Hornsbury Mill, Forde Abbey and other local venues, exploring Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast (25 minutes drive), Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage HQ and Canteen, Axminster Power Tools courses, Visiting National Trust houses and gardens and for walkers and cyclists (garage storage available).
