Bed & Breakfast in Scotland

Welcome to Achnabobane Farmhouse, Bed & Breakfast in Scotland. Achnabobane Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast provides an ideal central base for exploring The Highlands to best advantage. Our 3 Star Bed & Breakfast is located between Spean Bridge and Fort William. A Victorian Farmhouse was built around 1865 here at Achnabobane and we are lucky enough to have commanding views of the imposing and majestic Nevis Mountain range. We are just a few miles from Spean Bridge to the North and Fort William to the South, just off the main route to Inverness.

We have a variety of rooms to offer guests and each have flat screen TV/DVD players, tea/coffee facilities, clock/radio and a vanity unit. We also have a guest lounge which has Sky TV. The Family room is a combination room consisting of a Single (en-suite) and a Double (Standard) with interconnecting doors. Both rooms have independant access. These rooms generally sleep 3 persons and gives great flexibility enabling a Single (en-suite at our discretion) a double en-suite (normal family room rate charged), a twin en-suite (again normal family room rate charged) or as a Family room.

Our B&B is surrounded by stunning coastline around Arisaig and beyond. The beautiful White Sands of Morar that featured in the film Local Hero, are yet another draw to this spectacular region.

Alternatively, you can simply chill out and enjoy the local area, famed for its wide variety of outdoor pursuits, wildlife and numerous attractions and places of interest to see.

The location of Achnabobane Farmhouse provides an ideal central base for exploring The Highlands to best advantage. Even journeys covering the length and breath of Scotland can be achieved from Achnabobane – with plenty of time to spend when you get to your chosen destination, within reason of course. Previous guests have travelled as far north as Thurso and Castle of Mey and even across to Edinbugh, although they do admit the Islands, except Skye, are a little more tricky to ‘do’ in a day!

Or take the Road to the Isles (A830) northwest from Fort William to end at the fishing port of Mallaig. This is one of Scotland’s most scenic routes, with both road and the famous West Highland Steam railway (of Harry Potter fame) running through a region of rugged grandeur.
