Welcome to Pear Tree Cottage, Self Catering In Morpeth. Pear Tree Cottage is a cosy stone holiday cottage situated in a quiet rural location at Low Town, a farm just outside the lovely Northumberland village of Longframlington. The county town of Morpeth is just a short drive from our holiday cottage. The self catering cottage has its own garden and has been recently refurbished to a very high standard.
Our holiday cottage is superbly equipped throughout, there is a spacious lounge with a log burning stove and a modern open plan kitchen and dining area. There are two en suite bedrooms at each end of the sitting room. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other has a king size bed which can be made into two single beds. We can also provide a travel cot if you’re travelling with an infant.
There are many interesting places to visit just a short drive away from our holiday cottage. visitors to the area can discover picturesque fishing villages with plenty of excellent pubs and restaurants. Many of the local eating establishments serve freshly caught seafood. The famous seaside town of Whitley Bay and the medieval town of Alnwick with its famous gardens are just a short drive away from our holiday home.
