The Windward is situated on the craggy North Cornwall coast where the Atlantic waves crash in, with fabulous clean wide sandy beaches and a superb natural environment.
We have twelve comfortably appointed Double Bedrooms, ranging from our two luxurious Sea-View Balconied Premiers overlooking the beach, (how about a glass of wine on your own balcony?) to our very functional Standard and Twin-Bedded rooms and a recently added single room.
All our Bedrooms are fully en-suite and are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, hair-dryers and the latest flat screen televisions with built in DVD & Freeview. Everything is designed to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
There is ample secure parking to the rear of the hotel.
Premier Sea View :
The two Premier Sea Views have comfortable sofas and spacious balconies complete with patio furniture and fantastic views over the beach and Porth Bay.
Sea View Rooms:
We have two Double rooms with lovely views of the bay and the Atlantic beyond.
Standard Rooms:
We have six Double and two Twin-Bedded rooms with views over Porth Bay Valley (and a glorious sunrise..)
Single Room:
A recently refurbished single with bath.
We pride ourselves on our fantastic breakfast…… Picture starting the day with a large cafetiere of Drury’s coffee or a pot of English tea, accompanied with cereals of your choice, fruit, and hot toast and marmalade…..Imagine catching the smell of sizzling bacon cooking in the kitchen and then being presented with your “Full English”…… whilst seated comfortably in the breakfast conservatory overlooking the beach listening to some great relaxing music……. pure bliss.
Endless golden sands that are washed by the Ocean twice in every twenty four hours; rock pools with tiny fish, anemones and seaweed to delight the children; a crystal clear sea that invigorates the body and delights the eye and provides the best conditions in the British Isles for that wonderful and thrilling sport of Surfing.
