All of the holiday cottages used to be part of a train station and have been converted to offer modern and high quality self catering accommodation.
Bluebell Cottage used to be the ladies waiting room, parcel office and the gentleman’s toilets. This holiday cottage has two bedrooms, one double room and one twin room with two single beds. There is a fitted kitchen that has a washer/dryer machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, electric cooker and microwave. The living room has comfortable seating, a TV and a DVD player. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, WC and wash basin.
Primrose Cottage used to be the station masters office, ticket hall and waiting room. There are two bedrooms in this holiday cottage as well, one double room and one twin room with two single beds. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, WC and basin. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need including washer dryer machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, electric cooker and microwave. The lounge has comfortable leather sofas, a TV and a DVD player.
Whistle Stop used to be the engine shed but now offers three lovely bedrooms including one double room, one single room and one twin room with two single beds. The master bedroom has a balcony that looks out over the garden. The lounge in this self catering cottage has comfortable seating, a 40″ flat screen TV and a DVD player. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with washer dryer machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, electric cooker and microwave. This holiday cottage has a private fenced garden with garden furniture.
There is a family put that is just a five minute walk from all of the self catering cottages. The local shops are also within walking distance.
