Some of the bedrooms are over 600 years old but you will be pleased to note that the décor has changed along the way and all rooms have been tastefully furnished and decorated recently with a mix of contemporary and traditional features.

When you stay at or just visit the White Swan Hotel, you can park right outside. The car park is accessed via the driveway that runs up the right hand side of the building. Or park the car and have a wander around historic Henley-in-Arden then join us in the restaurant for a meal, or a reviving drink and spot of tapas in the bar.
The name Gallows was chosen for this restaurant because it is documented that in the 18th century, the area surrounding the restaurant was used for public hangings. The accused would first be tried in the Guild Hall, which still stands opposite The White Swan, and if found guilty would be taken into a cell.
This cell is known today as The White Swan Wine Bar which is situated across the main driveway. The prisoner would wait in the cell until it was time for his end, at which time he would be escorted to the Gallows where the inevitable would happen!
