Welcome to West Cottage, Self Catering In Carlisle. West Cottage is a wonderful self catering holiday home in Cumwhinton and is just a short drive from Carlisle in Cumbria. We offer 4 star self catering holiday accommodation in a lovely Georgian farmhouse for up to 6 people and is a perfect retreat for a relaxing and tranquil break away.
The holiday cottage has been carefully decorated and furnished to ensure you are comfortable during your stay. The holiday cottage is fully equipped and made up ready for your arrival with all linen and towels included. There is a fully fitted kitchen that has all the modern facilities you would have at your own home, with seating for up to six people. The large living room has beautiful exposed beams, hardwood flooring and a fireplace with a stove effect fire that gives this room a warm and homely feel – a perfect place to relax at the end of a busy day.
There are 2 bedrooms upstairs; the master and the twin bedroom. If you do need space for an extra 2 people then there is a mezzanine the overlooks the staircase which has a double sofa bed. A travel cot can be provided on request.
Outside is a patio area that is perfect for BBQ’s. This is a great place to have your morning brew or your favourite tipple at the end of a day.
The holiday cottage is only a short drive from local attractions such as Hadrian’s Wall, the Lake District, and the Eden Valley, Alternately you can always pop into Carlisle and enjoy some of this local history as well as partaking in some serious shopping in this busy city.
