Our holiday cottages are flexible enough to provide a cosy retreat for two or a venue for a large family reunion. The same comfortable stylish feel applies to all our properties. They all benefit from our love of antiques, as well as from the lake, grounds and lovely gardens. Our genuine understanding of what’s needed – we’ve been welcoming guests for over 30 years – make for a happy holiday experience.
Upper Court Estate, Kemerton Village, the Cotswolds and Bredon Hill are yours to explore (maps available) with lake, meadow and hill on which to lose yourself. Escape into this beautiful countryside and let the wildlife, open space, country air and peace refresh you. In the summer you’ll wake to birdsong and the early morning activities of the swans, geese and ducks on the lake and hens in the garden. You will see foxes trotting along the hedgerows at dawn and catch the deer grazing in the dusk on the hill.
The Coach House, Stables and Courtyard Cottage are located in the courtyard and can be interconnected to accommodate a large group. The Coach House is an ideal central entertaining space, as the Gallery can provide dining for up to 24 guests.
Dovecote, a romantic hideaway for two, and Watermill Cottage, an early 18th century gem, both overlook the lake.
Garden Flat, another retreat for two, is located in a wing of Upper Court beside the walled garden and swimming pool.
Especially popular with children, the extensive gardens and grounds, extending to 15 acres, match the quality of the buildings. Guests are free to wander in the grounds, the centrepiece of which is a beautiful two acre lake that is home to a variety of wildfowl, swans, ducks and geese that all love to be fed. There are lots of spots suitable for romantic picnics, or you might even take the boat out. The millstream and watermill (now ruined) are mentioned in the Doomsday Book (1086).
