Keepers Cottage:
This cottage was once the home of the game keeper. It has a lovely cottage garden with old fashioned flowers and attracts lots of birds – lovely to sit and have your morning coffee.. This sleeps 4 people. There is a sitting room with an open fire and a dining kitchen. There is bathroom with a new walk-in shower. Upstairs are the bedrooms – a twin room and a double room.
Teviot Cottage:
Formally a farm workers cottage it is called after the river Teviot which is a stones throw from the cottage. You can fish for trout (£10 per week for a permit) Sit in the garden listen and watch the birds (woodpeckers robins blackbirds etc) So quiet and peaceful. This cottage sleeps 5 people. There is a sitting room with an open fire. Downstairs is the dining kitchen and bathroom with a powershower. One single bedroom on the ground floor and a twin and double room upstairs.
Tweed Cottage:
This is the middle of three and looks north and south with wonderful views over the rolling countryside. Formally a farm workers cottage it gets its name from the River Tweed, famous for its salmon fishing just 5 minutes walk from the cottage. This cottage sleeps 5 people. There is a sitting room with an open fire. A dining kitchen. On the ground floor is a single bedroom and the bathroom with a powershower and bath. Upstairs is a twin room and a double room.
Our farm is situated between the rivers Tweed and Teviot and boasts private walks to the river. Situated two miles from the beautiful market town of Kelso, where you can shop till you drop, wine and dine, indulge in a spa treatment or watch the world go by, you are guaranteed to totally relax away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life.
If sport is your thing, our cottages are ideally located, on the river for the keen fisherman & close to the famous junction pool. The river is also a bird & wildlife watchers paradise! We are also situated on fantastic border cycling & walking routes, as well as being close to the renowned Roxburghe Golf Course, but spoilt for choice with the many others close by.
Kelso also offers the only ice rink in the Scottish Borders, for skating and curling.
Kelso is also home to the famous Kelso Race Course which was voted Britain’s friendliest Race Course by the Sunday Times newspaper.
For rugby fanatics, all the Border towns have their own rugby teams and host annual 7’s. The world famous Melrose Sevens are held in April and are a short drive away.
Springwood Park is under a mile away and hosts events most weekends, such as horse shows, dog shows, sheep sales and the famous Border Union Show.
