Poole Farm is a jewel in the Devon countryside; perfect for leisure and business sojourns. The house dates back to 1892. Poole Farm will appeal to those looking for a place to relax and appreciate the views, as well as those who enjoy walking or cycling along the surrounding quiet lanes and river banks. On the Devon/Cornwall border – an ideal base from which to explore the two counties.

Poole Farm
Poole Farm Certified Location opened in August 2011. It is an adult only (16+) touring site for Caravan Club members only and is open all year. Dogs are welcome if kept on a lead at all times.

Situated on the Devon/Cornwall border, adjacent to the river Tamar, Poole Farm offers just under one acre of peace and tranquillity with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. It will appeal not only to those looking for a place to relax and appreciate the views but also to the more energetic who will enjoy walking or cycling along surrounding quiet lanes and river banks. There is a dog walk adjacent to the site and further afield, there are beaches, coastal and local forestry walks available where dogs can be exercised on or off lead.

5 hardstanding pitches, each with their own 16 amp electric hook up and drinking water. WC & Shower, Recycling facilities, Tourist Information, Chemical Disposal Point, Grey Water Disposal Point.

Wi Fi is available (small charge during 2015, Free from 2016)

Due to the narrow lane approach campers are asked to observe the following: ARRIVAL AFTER 14:00HRS and DEPARTURE BEFORE 11:00 HRS – thankyou

Local Attractions
Excellent walking country with Dartmoor National Park, Bodmin Moor and North Cornwall Heritage Coast nearby. Launceston and Tintagel Castles and Brent Tor are all easily accessible from Poole Farm, as is Roadford Lake which offers; sailing, brown trout fishing, attractive lake walks and a restaurant. Tamar Otter and Wildlife Centre, Lydford Gorge, Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre , Launceston Steam Railway, Jamaica Inn and many National Trust locations including, Lanhydrock and Cotehele are all easily accessible from the site. For those who love shopping Tavistock and Holsworthy markets are popular local attractions.

There is a small tourist information hut on site. Leaflets on most local attractions are available along with suggestions for local walks, fishing and places to eat out.
