MacKays Guest House offers bed and breakfast accommodation that is situated right on Oban’s seafront promenade, only 50 metres from the shore with beautiful open views of the bay, passing ships and the surrounding islands yet only 15 minutes walk to Oban’s town centre.
All rooms at this guest house are en-suite & beautifully furnished & have all the hospitality items you would expect from this exceptional 4* guest house.
We have 2 elegant ground floor suites overlooking Oban Bay, while the remaining large & spacious bedrooms (with super king or king size beds as standard) either overlook the water, or local woodland.
A variety of breakfast food is available at the B&B such as cereals, porridge, pancakes, toast and a selection of teas and coffee. Some gluten free items are available on request.
Oban also has many really good eating places, including a few award winning restaurants, something for every palate, and of course lots of fresh seafood available. There are lots of local attractions close to the accommodation such as Oban Distillery and Oban Bay Brewery.

Our small boutique guest house is the ideal setting with its stunning views across Oban Bay and a guaranteed car parking space for every guest bedroom.
Glenrigh is a highly regarded guest house situated on Oban’s residential seafront. With the main shipping lane at the bottom of our garden, Glenrigh has an enviable location with an open outlook to Oban Bay and the Islands beyond.
The Barriemore is a splendid example of a Victorian 3 storey town house, situated by the water on Oban’s sea front. It is as close as you can get to the narrow shipping channel which passes along side the patio at the front of our building.
