This B&B accommodation is situated in a beautiful and quiet location at the end of a private lane in the village of Grasmere and within easy walking of its local restaurants and shops.
Each of the four guest house bedrooms has its own individual style; all have en-suite facilities, flat screen TVs (mini-suites have them in both bedroom and lounge), tea and coffee-making facilities, hairdryers, foot spas, mini-fridges and many other personal touches.
At Lake View, we place a lot of emphasis on breakfast, being the most important meal of the day and we are very pleased to have been awarded a Breakfast Award from the English Tourism Council.
The beauty of the Lake District can be admired from many different angles, on high from Helm Crag or a gentle meander around Grasmere and Rydal Water. It is possible to spend several days walking from our door without having to get in your car, so if you’re keen to reduce your exhaust emissions, then what better place to come?

Situated in a beautiful and quiet location at the end of a private lane in the village of Grasmere and within easy walking of its local restaurants and shops. We’re open for most of the year and whatever time you come you will experience ever changing scenes, from the golden glows of autumn, to frosty, bright winter days or the vibrant colours of the rhododendrons in the spring. Times change but customs don’t and Lake View still evokes those days when attention to detail, old fashioned service and willingness to please were priorities.
