Welcome to Hayloft Self Catering, Self Catering in Droitwich is a beautifully appointed two-bedroom self catering apartment located in Hadley near Droitwich in Worcestershire. The self catering accommodation is on the upper floor of a newly reconstructed Cart House adjoining Mayhouse farmhouse.
With one double, with ensuite, and one single bedroom and a separate bathroom, The Hayloft Self Catering is ideally suited to three adults or a small family. An extra child ‘s bed or a cot can be provided.
The Hayloft Self Catering has been rebuilt using the original materials, including some interesting oak beams, in exactly the same proportions and style as the original, but incorporating a large picture window and of course, the most up-to-date facilities.
A large open plan living area with comfortable sofa and chairs, TV with DVD / CD incorporating: modern fitted kitchen with dishwasher, fridge with ice box, ceramic hob and electric oven and microwave. Dining table with 4 chairs.
Bedroom 1 with fully-tiled ensuite shower room, with a really luxurious large shower! Double King size bed, wardrobe and dimmable bedside lights!
Bedroom 2 a full size single bed with bedside light, wardrobe, etc.
Both bedrooms in the self catering accommodation have deep comfortable mattresses and crisp white bed linen.
Bathroom a separate full-size bathroom with shower over the bath. Towels and dressing gowns are provided, as is a hairdryer.
Laundry a small laundry room under the outside steps is equipped with a washing machine and separate tumble drier and extra freezer space is always available in the farmhouse if required.
Ombersley Village is a delightful old village with many timber-framed historic buildings and within half an hour’s walk. Ombersley has good local shops, a Doctor’s surgery, a Dentist and several pubs and restaurants.
Only some 6 miles away, Worcester is a Cathedral city with a wealth of heritage and history. The original settlement dates from neolithic times, and Worcester has often played a pivotal role in shaping England’s history, notably in the 1100’s during the Anarchy, and later during the English Civil War, where Charles I was defeated in 1651.
Worcester Racecourse with its picturesque tree-lined track and unique position nestling on the banks of the River Severn, offers a great day out for all the family as well as for racing enthusiasts.
On the edge of the city with great links to the M5, and easily accessible from the self catering property, Sixways is the home to Guinness Premiership rugby union side the Worcester Warriors.
