The island abounds in wildlife, a colony of seals can ofen be seen basking on nearby rocks – this is therefore the perfect choice for naturalists, birdwatchers, or for anyone seeking complete seclusion and tranquility.
Fishing and boating may all be enjoyed – fishing for one rod is available free of charge and the rod is provided. For young children there is a lovely new playpark in the village, which also has a small knitwear company, craft shops and a general store. Shops are only half a mile away in the village.
The bungalow is situated on a nine acre croft (belonging to the proprietor) and permission is granted to occupants to enable them walk over the croft and gain access to the beaches where seals/otters can be viewed regulary on nearby rocks.
