Welcome to Green Gables, Bed & Breakfast in Gloucestershire. Green Gables is a family friendly bed and breakfast that can be found in a beautiful part of Gloucestershire, set within the Wye Valley which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our guest accommodation is at Mork near St Briavels, which is a great location for exploring the heart of England and being both dog and child friendly is perfect for those who want a family break away.
We have 4 guest rooms at our bed and breakfast, each of which is comfortably decorated and furnished, providing guests with a relaxing place to return after a busy day exploring the area. Guest rooms available at our B&B includes:
Monmouthshire Room – Ground floor room with its own separate entrance. This B&B room has a king size bed and space for an extra children’s bed if required.
Brecon Annex – A single room that is connected to our Monmouthshire Room. Perfect for a solo traveller or a family with an older child who wants their own space.
Gloucestershire Room – Large room with a super king size/twin beds and a single bed. This room is ideal for those who are travelling as a family (there is space for an extra child’s bed if needed) or as a group of friends as the room can also be made up as a triple. This can also be combined with our Herefordshire room for a comfortable family retreat.
Herefordshire Room – Cosy & comfortable space that can be booked on its own for 2 people or with the Gloucestershire Room to make a separate family area.
Guests have access to a communal snug & dining room as well as a hillside garden and summer house. These are lovely places to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the surrounding area. Breakfast is served in our dining room each morning and evening meals are available on request. For those who would also like to take something with them for lunch, we can provide packed lunches.
The Wye Valley is renowned for its unmatched scenery, fascinating history and unforgettable walks. Offa’s Dyke, the intriguing Forest of Dean and extensive farmland are on our doorstep and the delightful county of Monmouthshire is just across the bridge into Wales.
