Located just a stones throw from the world famous River Tweed, and just 3 miles away from the historic Borders market town of Kelso, this delightful holiday destination is set in glorious rolling farmland.
Tastefully and sympathetically converted from a traditional model stone and slate farm steading to provide luxury self-catering accommodation, the cottages are charming, unique and comfortable. All of the accommodation has been carefully created to make the perfect location for groups or couples alike. Our great get-away-from-it-all cottages are well appointed and beautifully maintained and can accommodate 1-16 people.
Edenmouth Lodge:
Immerse yourself in the fabulous surroundings of the Scottish Borders from the comfort of Edenmouth Holiday Cottages. Each one has been carefully created to make your holiday as tranquil and refreshing as possible.
Edenmouth Lodge is the largest of the four cottages, with uninterrupted southerly views of the River Tweed to the Cheviot Hills, it is available as a two or three bedroom cottage, all with en-suites and sleeps up to six guests plus 2 if the Bed Settee is used: Extra accommodation for four people is available in The Byre. The flexibility of this Scottish Tourist Board rated four-star cottage makes it ideal for large families, friends holidaying together or even corporate guests. The spacious living area is very comfortable and has a stereo, a TV, DVD, and a video player, the dining room seats eight +, this room can be transformed into an additional guest bedroom by use of the bed settee. A cot and highchair are also available on request.
The fully fitted kitchen has been attractively furnished with pine units, and has a cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dish washer, and a washer dryer. Further laundry facilities are also available in the Byre. There is a separate games room, which has a darts board and a table tennis table. Outdoors there are a variety of games to amuse children, and ample parking for all guests’ vehicles.
Dovecote Cottage:

Dovecote Cottage is an attractive open plan and very flexible self-catering holiday home, with uninterrupted southerly views over the Tweed Valley to the Cheviot Hills. With a Scottish Tourist Board four star rating this cottage is ideal for relaxing getaways. The cottage accommodates two very comfortably, and has a bedroom that can be configured as a king size double or two twin beds. A cot and highchair are also available on request.
The living dining area is very comfortable and has a TV, DVD, and a stereo player. The fully fitted kitchen has a cooker, microwave, and fridge/freezer. Laundry facilities are available in the Byre. There’s also a communal games room which has a darts board and a table tennis table. Outdoors there is a large grass area and parking immediately outside the front door with a sloping entrance so ideal for those less able. There are no steps in this cottage.
Courtyard Cottage:

Courtyard Cottage is a compact and cosy self-catering holiday home, which sleeps up to four guests. Rated three stars by the Scottish Tourist Board, Courtyard Cottage is perfect for fun filled family holidays, friends holidaying together and its easy access makes it ideal for the less able. The open plan living/dining/kitchen area is very comfortable and convivial, with a colour TV, DVD, and a stereo player. The fully fitted kitchen includes a cooker and microwave and a fridge. Laundry facilities are available in the Byre.
With one double and one twin room, both with walk in shower rooms, the cottage is great for the less mobile: The twin room is suitable for assisted wheelchair users. A cot and highchair are also available for guests by prior request. However, cot bedding is not supplied.
There’s lots of outside space for you to explore and have fun in, and inside the cottages are spacious and well designed with all the comforts you would expect at home.
These gorgeous holiday cottages are easy to access with all the accommodation located on the ground floor of single storey dwellings (No steps). Naturally they are luxuriously appointed with en-suite facilities, full central heating, a games room, a large lawned garden, an attractive enclosed courtyard, parking space by each cottage and stunning panoramic views across the Tweed Valley.
Our location to the River Tweed makes it a popular spot for fishermen, we offer lock up buildings for rods, chest freezer for the catch and a drying room for damper days.
