Each of the three delightful, imaginatively converted and comfortable cottages offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy tranquil surroundings whilst walking beside the River Lark.
Each holiday cottage boasts its own private hot tub and enjoys shared use of an enclosed heated swimming pool available all year round. Charolais cattle, horses and sheep graze in the meadows and the owners’ fine Tudor farmhouse stands nearby.
Ideally situated for exploring this lovely region, Culford is a little hamlet less than 3 miles from historic Bury St Edmunds’ Theatre Royal (N.T.), Abbey and Priory Gardens. Thetford Forest, N.T. Long Melford Hall and Lavenham Guildhall, Newmarket Races and the city of Cambridge are all within 30 minutes’ drive. Pubs, restaurants, shop/P.O. 3 miles.
The Smokehouse
This imaginative single story conversion of a Victorian smoke house, enjoys:- large double doors opening onto an enclosed garden from each of the front rooms, where the garden is equipped with its own private hot tub. The lounge contains a gas ‘coal burner effect’ fire, and a comfortable seating area. The dining room with large wooden dinning table, leads into the well equipped kitchen. A corridor leads to the bedrooms. The master bedroom equipped with a double bed and private en-suite. Twin room with en-suite. Each bathroom is equipped with a bath/shower or a shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin.
