These 4 star rated pet friendly cottages, called Coleridge cottage and Wordsworth cottage are in a quiet and peaceful location.
Coleridge Cottage:
This holiday cottage sleeps 2 in a double bed. Fitted with under floor heating, wood burning fire, double glazing and high levels of insulation, it is snug and warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Everything is supplied from bedding, to towels to kitchen utensils so that all you have to bring is your food.
Wordsworth Cottage:
This self catering cottage sleeps 2 in a double bed. Fitted with under floor heating, wood burning stoves, double glazing and high levels of insulation, it is snug and warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Everything is supplied from bedding, towels and kitchen utensils so that all you have to bring is your food.
You can book both holiday cottages to sleep 4 people since there is a secure and fireproof interconnecting door.
However, the 2 cottages are completely self contained and being so well insulated with cavity walls between you and Coleridge Cottage you will have complete privacy and not be intruded by the other guests in any way.
The 2 self catering cottages do not share any facilities except for the garden, but you still have your own shielded patio area and own outside seating and table.
The under floor heating throughout the cottages is individually controllable in each room. The bathrooms have a full sized bath with a power shower (to 3 atmospheres) through a large fountain head. Lovely warm floor under foot when you get out of the bath. Full sized heated towel rail. The self catering cottage have a large sheltered lawn looking out onto the stunning views with private patio and own sitting out area.
Well behaved dogs are very welcome and have their own secure garden area so they can run around straight out of the Patio doors without worry of them getting out or running off.
The award winning, Hwam, Danish made, wood burning stoves in both holiday cottages give off a romantic and cosy atmosphere to compliment the stunning views when the nights draw in. We also supply the wood and kindling for free.
There is excellent and varied walking, cycling and horse riding straight from your front door since we are in the very beautiful Exmoor National Park, at the midway point on the Coleridge Bridle Way and quite close to Blue Anchor beach.
