Catherine Scott started her business in the Berkshire area 8 years ago, having previously built up a reputation of providing stylish looking and delicious tasting wedding and celebration cakes as a hobby cake maker. Catherine has been making wedding and celebration cakes for over 30 years having first taken up the art as a ‘new skill’ learned as part of her Duke of Edinburgh’s award back in the 1980s. Over the early years she undertook many courses and workshops, expanding her range of skills and experience whilst making cakes for family, friends and customers by recommendation.
As a company, Celebration Cakes by Catherine Scott was established in November 2004 and has grown steadily so we are now the area’s premier wedding and celebration cake supplier. Over the last 8 years Catherine has built up a team of talented cake designers and decorators and the company now operates from a beautiful design studio just north of Reading in the scenic South Oxfordshire countryside.
Our range of designs covers everything from traditional tiered wedding cakes, contemporary styles, cup cakes and their popular range of deluxe chocolate wedding cakes plus novelty creations for those looking for something a little different and every type of celebration cake for any occasion; from Christenings, to special birthdays, spectacular children’s cakes and cakes for corporate events in all shapes and sizes.
Every wedding cake order is a bespoke commission we have no set designs or styles. The company offers a full service from personal consultation to discuss your initial ideas right through to the very important delivery and set up of your cake on the day at your venue. Couples can visit us at our studio to see examples of our latest designs and our extensive portfolio. We have twice been shortlisted in our area in the annual Wedding Industry awards.
All celebration cakes are made to the customer’s exact specifications – we have never been beaten by an idea or concept and, within the team, can provide all the inspiration and skills required to turn any customer’s ideas in to cake reality!
Our cakes not only look fantastic but they taste delicious too. We provide a tried and tested range of flavours including cakes for special dietary requirements such as egg free, gluten / wheat free and dairy free and sometimes a combination of these.
