Welcome to Burcombe Manor, Bed & Breakfast in Salisbury. Burcombe Manor is set in the village of Burcombe in the Nadder Valley, four miles west of Salisbury. The Manor is a family home set at the base of a 1300 acre working farm, with arable, sheep and pigs. It forms part of the Earl of Pembroke’s estate in the south of Wiltshire.
It overlooks the water meadows and is within five minutes from the traditional village pub.
The house is set in its own three acre garden, totally surrounded by a tall yew hedge, giving complete privacy. Well manicured lawns provide an excellent setting for a marquee to host weddings & other functions and parties.
There is an extensive network of Footpaths and Bridleways for both walkers and horseriders to explore.
One of the walks on the farm gives a panoramic view of Salisbury looking down onto the Cathedral.
Local attractions include Wilton House – the home of the Earl of Pembroke, Wilton Carpet Factory with its shopping village, the Regimental Badges carved in the chalk hills at Fovant, Stonehenge, Salisbury with its Cathedral, Museum & shopping.
Bath, Winchester, The New Forest and Isle of Wight are located within an hour’s drive.
At present there are three bedrooms, one double with en-suite (family room), one twin with en-suite and one double with a shared bathroom.
All rooms are centrally heated, with tea making facilities in all rooms.
There is a large comfortable sitting room with an open fire to enjoy.
The breakfast/dining room has large windows overlooking the gardens, and also has an open fire.
All meals are thoughtfully prepared, and we can also cater for vegetarians, with advance notice.
