The Bird In Hand is a charming family pub and B&B in the picturesque village of Lower Stondon. Doug and Libby Ellis refurbished the place in 2007, breathing new life into the old hotel and creating an inviting hub not only for locals, but also for those passing through.

Our spirited public bar is warm and welcoming, where we regularly host live entertainment. We also have a snug bar for those wanting a more intimate space to enjoy a quiet drink. And our large, pretty garden is safe for children to run and play in summer.
