Join us at Ballacricket Farm in Ronague and fall in love with a real Manx way of life. This traditional working dairy farm is situated deep in rolling countryside in the south of the Island. It’s one of the most peaceful spots on the Isle of Man but far from isolated, which means that visitors can enjoy its seclusion and still be within easy reach of numerous attractions the south has to offer.
There are winding walks, dramatic cliffs and wild beaches; several excellent golf courses; diving and watersports centres; fascinating historical sites; and plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants where you can refuel and replenish. Ballacricket is within five miles of the Isle of Man Airport, so you can begin your adventures almost immediately.
We have two bedrooms: Room 1 has a double and single bed which is ideal for a family. This room has an ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath.
Room 2 has twin beds and an ensuite shower room. Both rooms have access to tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast room is complete with fridge and microwave to use at the guests convenience.
The fishing village of Peel is situated 9 miles to the northwest, where an interesting museum can be found depicting the history of the Island. There are also a number of antique shops, restaurants, and a marina.
Port Erin is approximately 5 miles away and boasts a picturesque sweeping sanding bay. Other attractions nearby include the National Heritage Village, Cregneash, and the popular Calf of Man with it’s large number of resident seals. The old capital, Castletown, is approximately 4 miles away, and here you can find a harbour, several small museums and the Castle, which is open to visitors.
