Applehay Studio is set in the middle of a traditional picturesque village green on the Dorset/Wiltshire border; it’s surrounded by many acres of common land, with walks & cycling from the door. It’s comfortable, stylishly furnished and maintained with great care; an ideal rural retreat.
Applehay Studio offers the benefit of providing a substantial continental breakfast each morning for guests to help themselves too; or if they prefer they can self-cater.
There’s a village shop a few yards away & a pub directly opposite; there are also many other eating establishments with a 10 minute drive. It is directly opposite a friendly village pub, which dispenses real ales and home cooked food. There are also many other eating establishments within a 10 minute drive.
Applehay Studio is a small self contained apartment, where a substantial continental breakfast can be supplied each morning if required. The Studio is fully equipped with everything you need for everyday living. Home from home we are told! A substantial continental breakfast is provided in the Studio for guests to help themselves. It is only a minutes walk from the door of the Studio. Lovely and convenient – no need to get the car out!

Applehay Studio is located within the village of Semley on the Dorset, Wiltshire border.
There are many places of interest in the area that you may wish to visit during your stay.
Shaftesbury, with it’s famous Gold Hill, Abbey ruins and stunning views is only 3 miles away.
Old Wardour Castle is also 3 miles away and is well worth a visit for its history and walks.
Stourhead, with its famous garden and house, is 13 miles away.
Longleat Safari Park and house is also only 14 miles away.
