Self Catering in Tregaron
Welcome to Aeron View Camping & Caravan Park, Self Catering in Tregaron. Situated just a short drive away from the stunning Ceredigion coastline. Our campsite is located in Blaenpennal close to the market town of Tregaron. The beautiful scenery of the surrounding Aeron Valley can be seen for miles around.
We welcome all campers at Aeron View Camping & Caravan Park, especially those with a particular interest be it walkers, classic or specialist cars, cyclists, off roaders and motorcyclists, but request that clubs are by appointment only. Our campsite offers touring and camping pitches and a choice of well furnished static caravans for weekly hire. All the facilities have been recently renovated to a high standard.
The toilet block has been totally refurbished and a family room /disabled toilet has been created this also holds the site first aid point. The new showers are installed and have greatly improved the washing facilities and the laundry room is now clean and also contains a communal fridge. Our hot water system is also up and running.
The shop is open from 08:00 – 09:00 and from 17:00 – 18:30 each day at Aeron View Camping & Caravan Park. It is stocked with basic goods.
The roads into the camping field have been improved and additional hard standing areas has been provided along with new parking areas around the static vans.
For the use of our visitors we have two large communal gazebos, site furniture and barbeques which are proving very popular. We also now have a dedicated dog walking/exercise area.
In the picturesque setting of the Aeron Valley, we are situated above the River Aeron and flanked by the Nantgyhwfan. It offers peace and tranquillity with stunning views of the local countryside. Red kites nest on site and are fed daily and the area offers ample opportunities for bird watchers with the Cors Caron Nature Reserve being close by. There is a good choice for walkers, cyclists, off-roaders, with locations for trout, coarse and sea fishing all within 30 minutes travelling time.
The small market town of Tregaron offers a good range of shops. The Talbot Inn which dates from the 13th Century provides good local pub food there is also a Chinese Takeaway and a fish and chip shop. Other places of interest are the Red Kite Centre and Rhiannon’s Welsh Gold and Celtic Craft Shop.
