Welcome to 63 Cumberland Street, Bed & Breakfast in Darlington. 63 Cumberland Street is a pleasant, fully equipped and furnished, terraced property, situated in the historic market town of Darlington. The property is an ideal base to explore the treasures the North East has to offer.
The property consists of 2 reception rooms (both with televisions and double futons) and 3 double bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery and utensils, full cooking facilities and laundry facilities. The bathroom is located on the ground floor. Linen and towels are provided and a cot is available.
The property is centrally heated and double glazed and there is a furnished patio area to the rear of the property with a charcoal barbeque for guests use. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement, however this will incur a £20 fee per stay for each pet. North Park is located at the rear of the property and houses an extensive children’s play area to suit all ages.
Why not spend time exploring the cobbled lanes of shops, taking in the feel of a bygone age or maybe venture a little further to the historic cities of Durham and York, the vibrant city of Newcastle or the many Victorian seaside towns like Saltburn and Whitby.
Darlington is also only a stones throw from the North Yorkshire Moors and the Yorkshire Dales. We are also only a few minutes walk away from the recently restored Darlington Railway Museum. The new ‘Locomotion’ National Railway Museum at Shildon is only a 15 minute drive away.
